<p>The works for The Wave Centre, Maryport - Swimming Pool and Associated Facilities Extension, will be tendered in two stages and further details are outlined in the Tender documents.</p> <p>Details of Process For the avoidance of doubt, the procurement process, is as follows:-</p> <p>1. Stage 1 Tender</p> <p>a. Stage 1 Tender document prepared, and will include:-</p> <p>i. Preliminaries</p> <p>ii. Description and indication of the works</p> <p>iii. Description of the contractual arrangements</p> <p>iv. Percentage for Overhead and Profit, and which will be utilised to model individual tenders against each other</p> <p>v. Indicative Contract Sum Analysis for the scheme to enable comparison of tenders</p> <p>vi. This is to allow a clearer understanding of the scope by the tenderer, and to provide a basis for evaluation and comparison, as well as to inform</p> <p>Stage 2 Tender costing.</p> <p>This cost plan will be benchmarked and utised in the scoring of the tender cost element</p> <p>vii. Request for Quality information</p> <p>b. Review of tenders will be undertaken, and meetings held with at least 2 of the tenderers, prior to confirmation of a preferred bidder(s) to go forward to Stage 2 2. Stage 2 Tender a. Development and finalisation of the Design during Pre-commencement period b.</p> <p>Stage 2 Pricing document prepared, and will include:-</p> <p>i. Preliminaries</p> <p>ii. Contract Sum Analysis for all works</p> <p>iii. Pricing undertaken by tenderer in accordance with Stage 1 pricing</p> <p>c. A firm lump sum cost agreed with the tenderer</p> <p>d.
