Consultancy Services to evaluate the Scottish community and local energy sector, and understand how to maximise the sector’s contribution to a just transition and maximise the benefits flowing to communities across Scotland. ClimateXChange at the University of Edinburgh, working with the Scottish Government wishes to commission an evidence review of the Scottish community and local energy sector, and understand how to maximise the sector’s contribution to a just transition and maximise the benefits flowing to communities across Scotland. The findings and recommendations from this research will be used to inform the development of Scottish Government policy, particularly the content of the final Energy Strategy & Just Transition Plan (ESJTP); and future reviews of relevant Good Practice Principles for community benefit and shared ownership.
