Supporting LGBTQ+ Young People in Kirklees

Tender description

Tenders are invited by the Council from Providers with relevant experience and ability to demonstrate sufficient capacity for the provision of Supporting LGBTQ Young People in Kirklees (the "Services"). These services will enable young people to understand the community they live in and develop skills which provide them with resilience to achieve their potential and reduce the need to access specialist community services. Lot 1: Young people have told us that they benefit from associating with their peers who identify as LGBTQ. The provider needs to ensure the young people of Kirklees are aware of the service and create a pathway to encourage young people, their parents/carers, teachers, social workers and any other person involved with the young person, to make contact with the service and request support. The estimated value of the Services to be awarded is approximately £150,000 per annum over an initial 3 year contract with the option to extend for a further two years.
