Procurement of an integrated security solution comprising of EDS C3 Cabin Baggage CT X-Ray scanners, automatic tray return systems and Central Image Processing capability Lot 1: Newcastle International Airport are to purchase 7 Nr security screening systems each comprising of: - EDS C3 CB CT X-Ray Scanner - Central Image Processing capability - Automated Tray Return System The procurement involved a restricted procedure inviting expressions of interest from interested parties. Having received expressions of interest from 4 suppliers, they were all invited to submit competitive tenders for the supply, delivery, installation, optimisation and commissioning of the cabin baggage screening equipment. The tenders received were evaluated in line with the weighted tender evaluation matrix, the results of which identified the successful tenderer to whom we awarded the contract.
