Oak National Academy Cycle 1 Specification for Full Curriculum Packages

Oak National Academy's purpose is to improve pupil outcomes and close the disadvantage gap by supporting teachers to teach, and pupils to access, a high quality curriculum. We work with schools, teachers and the wider education system to create and support the use of world class digital education products built around a rigorous, high quality curriculum. We are undertaking an ITT to procure Full Curriculum Packages across key stages one to four in English, maths, science, history, geography and music. Oak would like to appoint multiple service providers to work with us to develop free, entirely optional, high quality Full Curriculum Packages. These will be made available to teachers and pupils for use in-class, and provide a national contingency for remote education should it be needed in the event of disruption. Full Curriculum Packages include 1. Curriculum Sequence - a thoughtfully and cumulatively sequenced set of units of learning and big ideas across the subject phase, including the supporting information outlined in Oak's Curriculum Content Specifications. 2. Lesson Resources covering all lessons within the Curriculum - all relevant resources required to teach the lesson as outlined in Oak's Curriculum Content Specifications, including slide decks, quizzes, worksheets, videos and supplementary resources. It is anticipated that the Supplier will need to work with Oak during the contract term to develop and build on their Existing Curriculum and Lesson Resources to deliver the Full Curriculum Packages.
