Homeowners Buildings Insurance (Right to Buy).

Tender description

South Lanarkshire Council and North Lanarkshire Council each require a provider for Homeowners Buildings Insurance (Right to Buy). South Lanarkshire Council are publishing this notice on behalf of both Councils to obtain notes of interest. However, this is not a joint procurement and North Lanarkshire Council will publish their own competitive process at a later date. Approximately 3,400 homeowners are currently insured under the existing South Lanarkshire arrangements; and 1,900 under the existing North Lanarkshire arrangements. The start date of the South Lanarkshire contract is anticipated to be 1 October 2023; and the North Lanarkshire contract, 15 May 2023. Lot 1: PIN notice being published to gauge interest in the Insurance market. Procurement will be conducted using the Open tendering procedure or via a suitable Framework should the market response determine that this is an applicable approach. Any competition will be published through Public Contracts Scotland Tender.
