The provision of Field work support (Equipment Calibrations) to assist EPA staff in the National Ambient Air Monitoring Programme

Tender description

The National Ambient Air Quality Unit invites tenders for the provision of a field support to assist the EPA to carry out routine calibrations and operations across the air quality network in fulfilment of the CAFE directive. The successful service provider/s will be required to calibrate continuous NOX, SO2, CO and Ozone, Benzene and Tier 3 Particulate Matter analysers as per the calibration schedule and carry out any other operational work required, using EPA standard operating procedures. This is a quoted time specific contract for a suitably qualified support. This document provides details of the required services, for the provision of a field support for a minimum of twelve months with potential for the contract to increase to two years in total. The rates should reflect the duration of the full contract for the field support broken down to a half day and daily rates. The contract is based on maximum number of 54 scheduled operational/calibration visits per year, plus up to 20 ad hoc non scheduled operational visits per year.
