Tender description
In summary, the Goods comprise the supply, delivery and on-site installation of a PEM Fuel Cell (PEMFC) test bench and a PEM Electrolyser (PEMEC) test bench, for Trinity College Dublin (TCD). Trinity College Dublin is seeking a single supply contract with regard to the above-mentioned pieces of equipment. This will facilitate fundamental research and development work on single cell or short stack fuel cells and electrolysers. The aim of this work is to not only support systematic evaluation of different catalysts, MEAs, flow field plate geometries etc, but to also consider the impacts of cell compression, water accumulation and air / hydrogen supply conditions as a means of developing accurate reduced order performance models. Lot 1: PEM Fuel Cell (PEMFC) test bench. In summary, the Goods comprise the supply, delivery and on-site installation of a PEM Fuel Cell (PEMFC) test bench and a PEM Electrolyser (PEMEC) test bench, for Trinity College Dublin (TCD). Trinity College Dublin is seeking a single* supply contract with regard to the above-mentioned pieces of equipment. The suite of equipment will be accessed and operated by a large cohort of researchers across Ireland through the AMBER partnership. A single vendor / consortium approach is adopted to leverage an integrated suite of equipment based on similar software, the ability to hold a consolidated stock of consumables / spare parts, and a co-ordinated training process across the tools. Lot 2: PEM Electrolyser (PEMEC) test bench.
