CSG2223/158. Wood Machining Workshop Extraction System

Tender description

Coleg Sir Gar (hereinafter referred to as CSG, or as the College) wish to replace their existing Local Exhaust Ventilation system at its Carpentry Workshop at its Ammanford Campus (SA18 3TA). The Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) Extraction units currently being used are very old and struggle to provide the required extraction rates in order to comply with current Health & Safety requirements. The system has become inefficient over the last few years due to additional modern machinery being added to the workshop. The replacement system must be effective and efficient modern extraction system which will result in clean air within the wood machining workshop, that complies with current Health and Safety standards. This process seeks to contact appropriate organisations to issue the tender documentation when it is ready, which will likely be during November 2022.
