8086 Framework agreements for the provision of litigation legal services to the CIE Group of companies

Tender description

This is a call to competition by Córas Iompair Éireann (“CIE”) to establish a number of framework agreements for the provision of litigation legal services to CIE and the Operating Companies in relation to delegated Relevant Claims in the District, Circuit and High Courts as and when required for the next 3-5 years. The CIE Claims Investigations Department is responsible for investigating claims in respect of Third Party Personal Injury, Employers’ Liability and Property Damage (including recovery claims) against the CIE Group of Companies (the “Relevant Claims”). The CIE Group Solicitor’s Office deals directly with a significant number of Relevant Claims particularly those set down in the High Court and will continue to do so. In order to support the effective management of the overall caseload, it is necessary to assign the defence of delegated Relevant Claims to external solicitors.
