8086 Framework agreements for the provision of litigation legal services to CIE and the Operating Companies in relation to delegated Relevant Claims

Tender description

Establishment of a number of framework agreements for the next 3- 5years for the provision of litigation legal services to CIE and the Operating Companies in relation to delegated Relevant Claims in the District, Circuit and High Courts, as required. The CIE Claims Investigations Department is responsible for investigating claims in respect of Third Party Personal Injury, Employers’ Liability and Property Damage (including recovery claims) against the CIE Group of Companies (the “Relevant Claims”). In order to support the effective management of the overall caseload, it is necessary to assign the defence of delegated Relevant Claims to external solicitors. This will involve the establishment of a framework agreement in respect of each of the following lots: Lot 1: County Dublin Lot 2: County Cork Lot 3: Eastern Circuit Lot 4: Northern and Midland Circuits Lot 5: Western Circuit Lot 6: South-Western Circuit Lot 7: South-Eastern Circuit Lot 1: Lot 1: multi-supplier framework agreement covering County Dublin Lot 1: multi-supplier framework agreement covering County Dublin Lot 2: Lot 2: single-supplier framework agreement covering County Cork Lot 2: single-supplier framework agreement covering County Cork Lot 3: Lot 3: single-supplier framework agreement covering Eastern Circuit (Athy, Dundalk, Naas, Trim, Wicklow) Lot 3: single-supplier framework agreement covering Eastern Circuit (Athy, Dundalk, Naas, Trim, Wicklow) Lot 4: Lot 4: single-supplier framework agreemet covering Northern and Midland Circuits Lot 4: single-supplier framework agreement covering Northern and Midland Circuits ( Buncrana, Carrick-on-Shannon, Castleblayney, Cavan, Donegal, Letterkenny, Manorhamilton, Monaghan, Athlone, Birr, Boyle, Longford, Mullingar, Portlaoise, Roscommon, Sligo, Tullamore) Lot 5: A single-supplier framework agreement (1 service provider) Western Circuit Lot 5: single-supplier framework agreement covering Western Circuit (Ballina, Castlebar, Clifden, Galway, Loughrea, Swinford, Westport); Lot 6: A single-supplier framework agreement (1 service provider) South-Western Circuit Lot 6: single-supplier framework agreement covering South-Western Circuit (Ennis, Killarney, Kilrush, Limerick, Listowel, Newcastle West, Tralee); Lot 7: A single-supplier framework agreement (1 service provider) South-Eastern Circuit Lot 7: single-supplier framework agreement covering South-Eastern Circuit (Carlow, Clonmel, Dungarvan, Kilkenny, Nenagh, Thurles, Tipperary, Waterford, Wexford).
