Munster Technological University is a multi-campus Technological University, contributing to the Munster region through the provision of academic programmes that support student development and opportunities, education and research. MTU has an extensive and impressive regional footprint with six campuses across the South-West region in Cork and Kerry, and a student body of 18,000. In 2022, MTU commenced a transformation programme which delivered a new draft strategy and a new executive structure (1 Chief Corporate Officer, 5 new Heads of Function and 5 new Heads of Faculty). This transformation programme also reviewed the options as regards a new operating model for Professional Management and Support Staff (PMSS), a process which has been highly consultative and is due to be completed in September 2022. As part of the next phase of this transformation programme, professional advisory support was required in the following areas: Workstream A: Academic Operating Model Workstream B: Detailed Design and Implementation Support of the prescribed academic operational model with the new PMSS Operating Model The successful tenderer was KPMG, 1 Stokes Place, St. Stephen’s Green, Dublin 2.
