Kent County Council (KCC) is seeking input from the market to facilitate the scoping of a potential procurement opportunity, in order to broaden the support options available for those receiving a Direct payment. As part of KCC’s ‘Making a difference everyday’ approach, KCC want to be able to provide more choice and control to those requiring support and wish to explore the external market in more depth, for high quality alternatives to care and support. KCC is looking for Expressions of Interest (EOI) from specialist suppliers with knowledge and experience, who can offer services such as brokerage, support services, managed accounts and/or Individual service funds to assist Kent in diversifying their self-direct support portfolio.
