Research and Consultancy Services to undertake research and a forecast on the demand for skills in high potential subsectors of the International Financial Services sector 2023-2027

Tender description

The Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment (DETE) on behalf of the Expert group on Future Skills (EGFSN) is commissioning a concise piece of research and analysis for the development a skills report for the International Financial Services Sector in Ireland. The objective of the research is to: • Identify the niche sub-sectors of the International Financial Services (IFS) sector in Ireland with the highest growth potential over the next five years. • to investigate at an in-depth level, the skills and competencies required for the successful development of these subsectors over the period 2023-27 and to identify gaps in skills demand and supply. • to develop a series of detailed recommendations to address the gaps in skills demand and supply in relation to these subsectors, and to identify appropriate actors to take ownership of, and agree implementation timelines for, each recommendation. The project will commence in July 2022 and conclude before the end of of Q4 2022.
