Peabody Community Foundation is seeking to appoint a catering entrepreneur or organisation wishing to operate a catering service in our community facility in Thamesmead: This cafe is based within the Moorings Sociable Club located in the Moorings Ward within the Royal Borough of Greenwich. We are looking for a suitably experienced provider to offer affordable hot/cold meal, drink and snack options for the local community. The contract will be offered as a concession in which the cafe space will be made available to the successful provider at little/no charge. This is inclusive of the equipment available at the site, service charge and utilities. Lot 1: Longer term options for the contract can be considered should the provider meet performance requirements. The cafe will need to provide a weekday onsite presence to deliver a range of hot and cold food/snacks/refreshments. Payments will need to be accepted via cash and cashless payment systems. Choices would need to cater for a variety of dietary requirements including as a minimum vegetarian, vegan and gluten free. It would be anticipated a variety of choices catering for the time of year, and to suit various budgets such as sandwiches, wraps and paninis, soup, jacket potatoes, pies, pastries, savoury and sweet snacks etc.
