RFT for the provision of Print Newspaper Supply and Delivery Services

Tender description

The Houses of the Oireachtas Commission (“the Commission”, also “the Contracting Authority”) wishes to engage a company or companies for the supply and delivery, in bundles, of print newspapers for the Members of the Houses of the Oireachtas and for the staff of the Service. The Commission is responsible for the running of the Houses of the Oireachtas, or Irish Parliament, (Dáil Éireann, Seanad Éireann and Oireachtas Committees), and acts as governing body of the Office of the Houses of the Oireachtas Service (“the Service”) (further information is available at www.oireachtas.ie). Background & Overview: The Contracting Authority procures a range and variety of print newspapers for Members of the Houses of the Oireachtas. This service is managed on behalf of the Contracting Authority by the Oireachtas Library & Research Service (L&RS). The L&RS is part of the Parliamentary Information and Research Services Division of the Houses of the Oireachtas Service. It is responsible for delivering information and research services to support the work of the Dáil and Seanad; Oireachtas Committees and individual Members in respect of their parliamentary duties.
