Tender description

The Authority has a potential upcoming requirement (Project MONET) to design and develop a technology demonstrator to aid defences understanding of green technology that can be exploited for elementary trainer aircraft. The Authority is therefore conducting a market analysis activity to inform the procurement strategy for a potential competition to award a contract to deliver the requirement. The Authority intends to hold an Industry Day on 20th October 2022 to present the requirement and seek feedback. The Project MONET requirement is currently a funded initiative but in issuing this Prior Information Notice (PIN), the MOD is not committing to carry out any procurement in relation to the strategy stated in this PIN. Any related future procurement activity will be subject to the PCR 2015 and advertised accordingly through the relevant channels. Additional information: The Industry Day will be hybrid (MS Teams and/or in person) and held at Cody Technology Park, Farnborough on 20th October 2022.
