Client Finance Team – Referring a Case for a Court-Appointed Deputy

<p>Nottinghamshire County Council regularly requires its in-house Client Finance Team to apply to the Court of Protection to become Deputy for Property and Financial Affairs for its Service Users who lack capacity to manage their own finances and where there are no family or friends, willing, able or suitable to take the role on themselves. Nottinghamshire County Council is looking to other Providers to take on some of the new cases it receives. Service Users who have over £100k in assets will be considered for a referral to Providers. However, there may be occasions where Service Users who have under £100k may be referred.
