<p>This Due North advertisement is to seek, Expressions of Interest, for suitably experienced Architectural practices for inclusion within a mini design competition for the Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust, to undertake the lead design role for the construction of the proposed, charitably funded, Rob Burrow, Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Centre. The proposed centre is to be located on the site of the Seacroft Healthcare Campus, York Road, Leeds. (See Attachment), and is to provide an innovative, flagship architectural statement offering an inspirational environment for all patients, visitors and staff. Interested consultancies must have a lead design office based within 50 miles travel from the Seacroft Healthcare Campus site and be able to demonstrate extensive experience working within an acute healthcare environment for schemes of a similar value. Selected applicants will then be invited to submit a design proposal based on the site and building information, scheme boundary, room data and project brief provided. The gross construction cost estimate of the proposals is not to exceed C£4m (incl).
