Tender description
Mid Ulster Council wishes to ensure a consistent approach to Legionella Control across its property portfolio. The property portfolio includes approximately 87 buildings at a range of locations. Building use ranges from civic and administrative, operational frontline facilities, to leisure and recreational facilities. The council properties serve a variety of users including staff and the public. Under the following legislation, the Council has responsibility to control legionella bacteria in water systems: Health and Safety at Work (NI) Order 1978 Management of Health and Safety at Work (NI) Regulations 2003 Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (NI) Regulations 2002
