HEE are putting out this notice as a VEAT with a view to completing a Direct Award to the Royal College of Physicians for delivering a credential specifically to meet the specific requirements of the HEE Learning Disability and Autism Programmes. Lot 1: Health Education England are putting out this notice as a VEAT with a view to completing a Direct Award to the Royal College of Physicians for the Delivery of a Training Programme to meet the Medical Needs of Adults with a Learning Disability (doctors, senior nurses and Allied Health Professionals (AHP’s)<br/><br/>The case for direct award can be found on the tender portal.<br/><br/>Health Education England (HEE) commissioned the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) to undertake the development of training programme to meet the medical needs of adults with a learning disability. Following extensive engagement, the training programme has been designed for doctors, nurses and allied health professionals working at a senior level to add to their skillset and to address a number of cross cutting themes. This is key to enable medical practitioners to provide high quality and person-centred care for adults with a learning disability. <br/><br/>Health Education England [HEE] believe that the RCP is the only organisation capable of supporting the delivery of such as to meet specific requirements of the HEE Learning Disability and Autism Programmes. The RCP is the only supplier with the requisite expertise and experience to assist HEE in delivering a credential specifically designed for doctors, nurses and allied health professionals working at a senior level.<br/><br/>The financial envelope for the contract is £420,000.00 (exlusive of VAT)<br/><br/>For the Specification, Contract and the Case for Direct Award please access the portal at:<br/>https://health-family-contract-search.secure.force.com/?SearchType=Projects<br/>Please access the portal for all documents.<br/><br/>All communications should be made via the messaging function on the Health Family eTendering portal.<br/><br/>If any provider has concerns with the commissioning intentions outlined within the published documentation, please raise this via the eTendering Portal in the first instance within 10 days of the date of this Notice.<br/><br/>The closing date of this VEAT is midday on Monday, 17th October 2022
