Tender description
Installation of new Vehicle Restraint Systems in County Kerry. The contract involves 14 complete barrier replacements or extensions, 18 new barrier installations and 1 existing barrier repair on the N21 & N22 National Primary Roads and the N69, N70, N71, N72 and N86 National Secondary Roads in Co. Kerry. VRS installation works consist of installing new systems designed in accordance with TII Publications DN-REQ-03034 (The Design of Road Restraint Systems (Vehicle and Pedestrian) for Roads and Bridges (May 2019)), DN-GEO-03036 (Cross Sections and Headroom (May 2019)), DNREQ-03079 (Design of Road Restraint Systems for Constrained Locations: Online Improvements, Retrofitting and Urban Settings (May 2019)) and CC-SPW-00400 (Specification for Road Restraint Systems (Vehicle and Pedestrian) (June 2020)).
