The Provision of Vehicle Breakdown Recovery Services

Tender description

Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council (“the Council”) invited tenders from suitably qualified contractors for the provision of vehicle breakdown recovery services to the Council for its fleet of vehicles and plant. The Council anticipated appointing three (3) contractors to the Framework on a ranked basis. The Council reserved the right to appoint fewer or more contractors to the Framework. The successful contractors will need to be able to provide vehicle breakdown recovery services for all of the following: 1.Vehicle Roadside Recovery for vehicles 3.5 ton and below 2.Vehicle Roadside Recovery for vehicles over 3.5t up to 18t, up to 2 axle rigid 3.Vehicle Roadside Recovery for vehicles over 18t up to 30t, 3 or more axle rigid 4.Vehicle Roadside Recovery for Minibuses of up to 16 passenger seats 5.Vehicle Roadside Recovery for welfare Minibuses over 16 passenger seats The framework will cover the provision of vehicle breakdown recovery services mainly within but, where necessary, outside the boundaries of the County Borough of Neath Port Talbot.
