Tender description

Supply and delivery service to the Council's Housing Asset Services for the supply of kitchen units and worktops, including ancillary items. Lot 1: The contract is for a comprehensive supply and delivery service to the Council's Housing Asset Service for the supply of kitchen units and worktops, including ancillary items. The contract will be operated on a call-off basis with the supplier providing materials to meet both programmed installs and reactive ad-hoc requirements. The majority of orders will be required to be delivered direct to tenanted properties within the boundaries of East Ayrshire. These on-site deliveries are to facilitate the Housing Improvement Programme. The remaining deliveries will normally be to the main Council storage depot. Additional information: With reference to the Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act 2014 and The Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015, this contract is reserved to sheltered workshops and economic operators whose main aim is the social and professional integration of disabled or disadvantaged persons, or to be performed in the context of a supported employment programme.
