Supply and Installation of Automated Parking System

Tender description

Leisureland in Salthill, Galway, currently operates with free parking for its visitors, serving its leisure destination and requires to control the 120 space car park by installing an automatic parking payment system. Leisureland’s owners, Galway City Council, have launched this competition to find a quality system, which will withstand the Atlantic climate, along with an experienced, competent, and reliable support company. The requirements from the Request for Proposals include supply, installation and commissioning of a modern, capable and future-looking parking system. The project will also involve a small amount of civil works (island and ducting) and cabling. As this is a working car park, open for 362 days of the year, the installation of the proposed solution will require effective traffic management, risk assessment and project management planning. It is expected that the Supplier proposals will be “all-inclusive”, to include supply, installation, commissioning and training in the management, operation and maintenance of the chosen equipment.
