Tender description
At Dublin City University Request for Information for the Supply, Delivery, and Installation of an Optical Frequency Comb. The optical frequency comb will generate a number of equally spaced optical carriers in the wavelength range from 1500 to 1600. The key parameters of the comb are as follows: Comb line spacing: > 50GHz and < 110 GHz; Optical Linewidth < 100kHz: Carrier to Noise Ratio > 40dB, RIN per line < 150 dB/Hz (averaged over 40 GHz bandwidth; Power per line > -10dBm; Correlation between lines (measured using RF beat tone at fundamental frequency): < 10kHz Number of useable lines (within 10dB bandwidth) > 32.
