Provision of Psychological and Counselling Services

LWETB is seeking a service provider for the Provision of Psychological and Counselling Services for Longford and Westmeath Education and Training Board (LWETB) across Further Education and Training and Schools. The successful service providers must be able to deliver the following services. 1. Counselling for learners/students online using teams, in centres or in established clinics 2. Educational Psychologist who can work onsite in Youthreach Centres/CTCs or other locations as required. 3. Supervision for LWETB staff who provide mentoring/counselling/special education needs to students and Learners as required. Appropriate accreditation is required by those who will provide counselling to learners and/or supervision to staff. They must be IACP registered Counsellors or equivalent and must also be IACP registered Supervisors or equivalent if providing supervision to staff. The response time for counselling services should be within 24 hrs but in some cases, we may need it within the same day if we are concerned about a learner. Services are required for approximately 52 weeks of the year. Counselling Services will be a minimum of 300 – 400 hours per year. Supervision will be approximately 12 hours.
