NHS England and NHS Improvement Primary Care Commissioning Central Team are leading the procurement for Healthcare Waste in Primary Care for the 42 Integrated Care Boards in England. Further information on these can be found at: https://www.england.nhs.uk/publication/integrated-care-boards-in-england/ The services cover the collection, storage, treatment/incineration and receptacle replacement of categorised Healthcare waste, from primary care health settings predominantly General Practices and Community Pharmacies. This notice has been designed to inform the market of the Commissioners intention to undertake a procurement in the coming months. Furthermore Commissioners are informing the market of their intended approach to contracting.
