National Platform for Procurement Management Information and Reporting

Tender description

The Scottish Government sought to implement a cloud based, collaborative management information reporting platform for procurement data. The management information reporting platform will be available to Scottish public sector bodies and organisations and will present a significant opportunity to: Maintain and significantly improve upon current reporting functionality using both Business Intelligence and existing reporting tools. Incorporate trusted third party sources such as Companies House, Office of the Scottish Charities Register (OSCR) Dunn and Bradstreet and Bureau Van Dijk etc. Enhance management of existing procurement related data. Identify and improve commercial risk and demand management practices. Improve the current suite of reports available from existing eCommerce systems. Ensure Open Government commitments are being met by embedding data governance assurance and Open Data Standards across solutions. Support Ministers in ensuring ambitions set out in the National Performance Framework are successfully achieved for the people of Scotland. Meet the aims and ambitions of Scotland’s Digital Future.
