Tender description
The Contracting Authority is establishing four separate panels for the provision of international services for the MBA International Study Tour Modules, as more fully described in Section 2 of this document. For the purposes of the Common Procurement Vocabulary (CPV), the subject-matter of this panel is defined as ‘Education and Training Services’ (CPV Code 80000000-4), ‘Seminar Organisation Services’ (79951000-5), ‘Event Services’ (CPV 79952000-3) b and ‘Cultural Event Organisation Services’ (CPV 7995100-3), all falling within Annex XIV of Directive 2014/24/EU. As a competition for services falling within Annex XIV, this competition is not fully subject to the detailed provisions of the European public procurement regime; notwithstanding this fact, the Contracting Authority will uphold the highest standards of transparency and objectivity in establishing and operating these panels. Lot 1: North America and Canada, specifically: − New York and Washington DC. − Silicon Valley and San Fran The UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School intends to establish four lots suitably qualified and experienced economic operators who will exclusively work with Smurfit Business school within Ireland, be responsible for the provision of international workshop services to the school’s full and part-time MBA students. The objective of the international tours is to provide an opportunity for MBA students to: ● Immerse themselves in another culture. ● Experience the challenges and opportunities facing organisations around the world. ● Extend their global awareness and enhance their international perspective as managers. Lot 2: Latin America The UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School intends to establish four lots suitably qualified and experienced economic operators who will exclusively work with Smurfit Business school within Ireland, be responsible for the provision of international workshop services to the school’s full and part-time MBA students. The objective of the international tours is to provide an opportunity for MBA students to: ● Immerse themselves in another culture. ● Experience the challenges and opportunities facing organisations around the world. ● Extend their global awareness and enhance their international perspective as managers. Lot 3: Asia, India, and Middle East, specifically: − Vietnam: Hanoi and HCM. − China − Japan and Korea The UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School intends to establish four lots suitably qualified and experienced economic operators who will exclusively work with Smurfit Business school within Ireland, be responsible for the provision of international workshop services to the school’s full and part-time MBA students. The objective of the international tours is to provide an opportunity for MBA students to: ● Immerse themselves in another culture. ● Experience the challenges and opportunities facing organisations around the world. ● Extend their global awareness and enhance their international perspective as managers. Lot 4: All European countries and Scandinavia The UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School intends to establish four lots suitably qualified and experienced economic operators who will exclusively work with Smurfit Business school within Ireland, be responsible for the provision of international workshop services to the school’s full and part-time MBA students. The objective of the international tours is to provide an opportunity for MBA students to: ● Immerse themselves in another culture. ● Experience the challenges and opportunities facing organisations around the world. ● Extend their global awareness and enhance their international perspective as managers.
