Tender description

Animal and Plant Health Agency APHA wishes to appoint agents to provide services in respect of intellectual property (IP) management. APHA currently has a portfolio of around 12 patent families. Annual volumes comprise 1-2 UK priority filings; 1-2 PCT filings; 1-2 National Phase Entry filings. These are generally in the following main research disciplines: • Veterinary diagnostics • Veterinary vaccines • Other biotechnologies APHA requires external professional IP services to assist the organisation to manage its existing patent and trademark portfolio and to assist with the protection of new registered IP assets. This requirement is being tendered in 2 Lots. Organisations may respond to one or other, or both Lots.
