Hospice based end of life (EOL) care services

Tender description

Wirral Hospice St Johns (WHSJ) is the dedicated hospice based end of life (EOL) care provider for the NHS Cheshire & Merseyside Integrated Care Board (ICB) for its Wirral Place locality. The locality is currently experiencing significant capacity constraints in the provision of EOL services and therefore the ICB board has recently approved a proposal to expand the services provided by WHSJ, by modifying the existing WHSJ contract to include EOL personalised palliative care services. This modification notice serves both as a transparency notice and a standstill period on the ICB's intention to award the contract. Therefore, following the 10 day standstill period, if the ICB receives no substantiated objections, the ICB aims to conclude the proposed contract with Wirral Hospice St Johns on or after 12:00 noon 17.10.2022.
