Summary of the work The specialist will need to be a experienced (working level) Tester. Day to day planning, scheduling, and coordination of UAT testing. Embedding in existing Test team and project teams, and undertaking Knowledge Transfer. Upholding DWP values and working within Government Digital Standards. Specialist role Quality assurance analyst Expected Contract Length 5 months Latest start date Monday 17 October 2022 Maximum Day Rate Up to £450 (ex VAT) per day. Standard 8 hour working day. Expenses will not be paid to and from base location This role is Inside IR35 Who Speclialist Work With The specialist will work with the existing DWP Augmented Teams, this will consist of DWP Digital staff and other 3rd party suppliers engaged in Service Now development work What Specialists Work On The specialist will be a experienced QA & UAT tester, able to deal with planning, scheduling, and coordinating tests with end users. Skills & Experience • Technical Skills: Test Analysis (DDaT) Testing (DDaT) Methods & Tools (DDaT) • ISTQB or equivalent experience • Demonstrable experience of working in a enterprise scale organisation • Experience planning and scheduling tests based discussion with stakeholders. • Good experience of undertaking knowledge transfer to existing teams • Demonstrable experience of working in a large scale orgnisation. Nice to Haves • Experience of writing test approaches. • Experience of Test Automation Tools and Building Frameworks Work Location Primarily at the DWP Digital Corporate Hub2- St Peters Square, Manchester - although Blackpool and Newcastle sites are also available Working Arrangments Specialist will work a minimum of 40% of their time (as directed by line management) on site at the Manchester Hub.
