Consultancy Services for Preparation of Meath Local Economic & Community Plan 2022-2028

Tender description

As set out in the Local Government Reform Act 2014, Local Community Development Committees (LCDC) were established on a statutory basis. One of the roles of the LCDC is the preparation of a 6 year statutory Local Economic and Community Plan (LECP). The Meath LECP 2016-2021 was adopted in March 2016 and set out actions to be delivered which would be of benefit to the communities of Meath. A new LECP must be prepared to cover the next 6 year period in accordance with the Local Economic and Community Guidelines 2021. Meath LCDC are now beginning the preparation process for next LECP and for the next plan there is a requirement to develop a framework of high level goals followed by the preparation of a 2 year implementation plan which will identify detailed objectives and outcomes.
