This Autumn marks the much-anticipated return of the popular Footsteps in the Forest event to Slieve Gullion Forest Park from Thursday 27th October to Monday 31st October 2022, as part of the Giant Adventures events line-up. Slieve Gullion's Giant Lair Trail will be transformed into the 'otherworld' for a fun and spooky immersive experience that will be brought to life through costumed characters, spectacular illuminations and mythical storytelling. Visitors will go along a self-guided, illuminated trail that will take them on the journey from the origins of Samhain to modern day Halloween. Newry, Mourne and Down District Council (NMDDC) wish to appoint a supplier to provide portable power requirements.
