Accountable Body to Manage Warrington Business Improvement District

<p>Warrington Business Improvement District will be managed by a private sector Accountable body partnership. Warrington businesses have voted in favour of having a Business Improvement District (BID) for the town centre – a five-year £1.8million private sector led investment for Warrington town centre, which came into place on 1st August 2018. Setting up the BID empowered businesses to undertake activities, projects and services that have made the town centre more economically vibrant, increased footfall and supported the creation of a safer, cleaner and greener town centre. In line with the commitments outlined in the BID proposal and plans, Warrington BID board now wishes to appoint an Accountable Body to take full responsibility for the Management and Operation of the BID as it enters its second round, reporting to the Board in line with the governance arrangements which we developed. The contract is for a period of five (5) years from 1st December 2022, subject to satisfactory performance and meeting agreed KPIs. The contract will be between the BID and the successful tenderer, the Council is Advertising this on behalf of the BID.
