Tender description
Produce a Level 2 Strategic Flood Risk Assessment (SFRA) for Wirral, to identify & assess potential flood risk of potential site allocations. Potentially assess flood risk information submitted by developers and support the Council at Local Plan Examination. This follows on from the Level 1 Strategic Flood Risk Assessment produced by the proposed supplier who were appointed following an RFQ process in 2018 on a 3 year contract to undertake both the Level 1 and Level 2 SFRAs. However, due to delays in Local Plan preparation, the 3 year contract expired before the Level 2 SFRA could be commissioned. This is a key piece of work to complete the Local Plan evidence base.
