White Oak Residential - Cost consultant and PM/EA

<p>Sevenoaks District Council is seeking to appoint a Cost Consultant and Project Manger/Employer&rsquo;s Agent (PM/EA) to bring forward a new high quality development on the site of the old White Oak Leisure Centre car park. The Cost Consultant and PM/EA will form part of a wider multi-disciplinary team.</p> <p>A hybrid planning application (ref 19/02951/HYB) was granted planning permission in October 2019 with full permission granted to redevelop the leisure centre and outline permission granted for this residential element. This was to provide a new residential quarter of up to 41 new dwellings on the northern part of the site where the old leisure centre and car park are currently sited. A feasibility study has since been undertaken which has explored options to provide 81 dwellings of 1,2 3 and 4 bed flats along with 11 two-storey town houses. This option was selected from a viability and planning perspective.</p> <p>This commission seeks to appoint an architect-led design team to further develop the preferred option to prepare and submit a planning application and to ultimately see through the delivery of the development. The appointment of the Cost Consultant will be for RIBA work stages 2 and 3, with the possibility of proceeding to stages 4,5, 6 and 7 subject to the council&rsquo;s preferred procurement route and subsequent approval to proceed.
