Tenders are invited from suitably qualified and experienced consultants to carry out the following 5 no. assessments: Longford Town Local Area Plan 2022-2028: 1. A Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) to satisfy the requirements of the SEA Directive (2001/42/EC) and associated national legislation and guidelines. 2. An Appropriate Assessment (AA) to satisfy the requirements of the Habitats Directive (92/43/EEC), in particular, for the purposes of satisfying Articles 6(3) and 6(4) of that Directive and Part XAB of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended). 3. A Strategic Flood Risk Assessment (SFRA) to satisfy the requirements of the Section 28 Flood Risk Management Guidelines for Planning Authorities (DECLG and OPW, 2009).
