This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to advise the market of a forthcoming opportunity from Health and Social Care Information Centre’s (Known as NHS Digital) GP IT Futures (GPTIF) Programme, on behalf of the Department of Health and Social Care for the provision of foundation Electronic Patient Record (EPR) solutions and associated capabilities, for primary care IT.<br/>These solutions will be reflective of healthcare professionals’ needs, as shared with NHS Digital through detailed research and user engagement.<br/>GPITF proposes to introduce a refreshed set of technology standards and solution capability requirements and will engage the market on its proposal, along with details of how new-to-market solutions could be assured, procured and consumed.<br/>This notice is for prior information only, publication for a further call for competition will be made as required.
