Specialist and Autonomous Mobility Experimentation Framework Agreement (SAM EFA)

Tender description

The Authority’s Specialist and Autonomous Mobility (SAM) intends to set-up a ‘SAM Experimentation Framework Agreement (EFA)’ against 3 separate lots as summarised below: Lot 1 - Specialist Vehicles (Unprotected): For the purpose of this Experimental Framework, Specialist Vehicles (Unprotected) are defined as non-armoured All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV’s) specifically designed or modified to negotiate road/off-road/amphibious conditions and gradients. Lot 2 - Specialist Vehicles (Protected): Specialist Vehicles (Protected) are defined as Armoured Vehicles designed and modified to defeat a specific threat level. The vehicles are configured to negotiate road and off-road terrains. Lot 3 - Technology Demonstrators: Emerging technology demonstrators, these are technologies associated with SAM equipment, including those within Lots 1&2 that the Authority may wish to acquire or modify for research and development and can be in the form of individual equipment’s or installation kits.
