Soft Market Testing-Emotional Health and Wellbeing Support for children aged 5-12 years

<p>Trafford CCG and Council has jointly commissioned an early help emotional wellbeing service for 5-12 year olds, providing group based and 1:1 support along with parent support workshops. This service has been very popular with our children and their families, due to an unprecedented increase in demand we now require a provider to support those children who require a 1:1 counselling offer. If demand continues at the current rate the provider will be required to triage referrals and be solution focussed in meeting demand. This may result in other delivery models in addition to 1-1 support such as group support for children and workshops for parents where there is commonality across themes. The priority will be 1-1 support although the provider will need to be flexible in responding to demand. The provider will also respond to new referrals for emotional wellbeing support and support for parents to respond to their child&rsquo;s mental health and emotional wellbeing needs.</p> <p>Please read the attached Soft Market Testing document&nbsp; and the embedded Service Specification document.&nbsp;</p> Keywords: health, Young People, Children, Mental Health, Wellbeing
