Tender description

A press and PR service to support key sectors and companies to market their products and services through an Orkney Marketing programme. This contract is a key element of the Orkney Marketing programme and is intended to raise the profile of Orkney and its industries by securing media coverage. This contract will help meet the demand to manage press visits in response to enquiries and will also include copywriting for orkney.com and occasional publications for Orkney Marketing. It will include responding to media and press enquiries on a range of subjects, recognising the need to accommodate visits by instagrammers and bloggers who would then submit regular work for use by the social media management contractor. Visits which will lead to TV coverage, and international press coverage should be prioritised.
