Tender description

The IDA Raheen Business & Technology Park is located on the southern fringe of Limerick City approx. 5kms from the City Centre. The Estate is accessed via several routes which include the predominant access from the Ballycummn Road off the M20 whilst the R526 Road provides secondary access to its northern western entrance. The Estate is highly accessible with the M20 Motorway situated in proximity. IDA Ireland engaged the services of an engineering consultant to conduct an infrastructural condition review at the Raheen Business & Technology Park in 2018. The appointment included for the preparation of tender design for the proposed service/ infrastructure upgrades & repairs, the management of the procurement process, the evaluation & recommendations for the appointment of suitable contractors to deliver the resulting recommended infrastructure upgrades / rehabilitation works. The aim of the project and infrastructural improvements that are required include is the rehabilitation and upgrade of the existing footpath and carriageway with replacement of the approximately 7.7km of concrete carriageway with an asphalt road build up and wearing course, and delivery of designated cycle lanes which will run parallel to the carriageway. In addition, the works will include the remediation and upgrade of foul and surface water networks. IDA Ireland requires consultancy services to provide Designer, Project Supervisor Design process, Resident Engineer, Quantity Surveyor and Employers Representative services for Stage (iv) Construction and (v) Handover of the above-mentioned project
