Review of the Level 2 Wirral Strategic Flood Risk Assessment (SFRA) outputs by the Environment Agency (EA). Review by the EA at key stages greatly reduces the risk of their rejecting the final report. As a statutory consultee their sign-off of the final SFRA is essential. As this review is not part of a statutory consultation, the time of the EA officers undertaking the review is subject to cost recovery
