CP2006-20 Pebblebed Heaths Visitor Access Improvements Phase 1

Tender description

Improvements to 4 No. car park areas located within the East Devon Pebblebed Heaths. The works are located at Joney's Cross Car Park, Four Firs Car Park, Frying Pans Car Park and Stowford Wood's Cross Car Park sites. The works include (not inclusive for all sites) re-profiling of existing car park surfaces to provide free-draining surfaces and remove potholes, car park entrances at Joneys Cross and Four Firs to be reconstructed, installation of traffic counters, installation of lockable vehicle height barriers, separate pole barriers to be installed at entrances to the Heathland to allow access for maintenance vehicles, installation of disabled car park bay and other general signage, site drainage features, earth bunds and logs to maintain proposed car park boundaries, tree felling, creation of new access into Joney's Cross Car Park.
