AWD Complex Provider of Last Resort

<p>Essex County Council is running a tender process to identify a provider for the delivery of support services across Essex in existing care settings when existing staff teams are unable to continue to provide care. This is an emergency service that is required to be flexible and deliver high quality care to adults with complex learning disabilities and/or autism.</p> <p>The provider must make staff available to deliver the agreed level of staffing (2 staff available) 24 hours a day, seven days a week including bank holidays. The provider must have the agreed number of staff in operation or available to deliver care at any point in time and will be paid on a block contract basis to ensure staff are available when required.</p> <p>Due to the urgent requirement for these services the tenders must be completed and returned to Essex County Council by 12pm on 2nd February 2022.</p> <p>The contract is for an initial expiry date of 31st March 2022 but may be extended by a period of three months depending on requirements.</p> Keywords: Complex
