Audit Services for Midland Metro Limited

Tender description

Midland Metro Limited has a requirement for Auditing services. The primary role of the Auditor is to present unbiased and independent audit reports on all matters described in the specification and Invitation to Tender documentation regarding the performance of MML. As a minimum, the appointed Auditor will be responsible for: • Reviewing the MML's Financial Statements with focus on the profit and loss for the year then ended; • Ensuring that Financial Statements have been prepared in accordance with The Companies Act 2006; • Ensuring the Strategic report and the Directors' report has been prepared in accordance with applicable legal requirements; • Ensuring any risks identified are flagged and detailed in a report format; • Providing their views about the qualitative aspects of the MML's accounting practices and financial reporting. The target date for formal contract commencement is March 2022, with a proposed duration of three (3) years. An option to extend the contract by a further two years (1+1) will be applied and may be entered into (subject to continued satisfactory performance by the Auditor).
