South Lanarkshire Council Maintenance and Contracts Term Scaffolding Contract

Tender description

The Council’s Housing and Technical Resources, Building Services has an ongoing requirement to appoint a suitable contractor for the Design, Hire, Erection and Dismantling of Scaffolding Systems for both Maintenance and Contracts projects. The Procurement Service have identified a suitable and accessible DPS as follows: Procurement for Housing (PfH) for Capital Works - Lot 12 Scaffolding DPS period - 28 October 2018 to 28 October 2023 with option to extend for up to a further 60 months OJEU Ref - 2018/S 184-415316 The procurement process was based on a call off by Mini Competition from the PfH DPS for Capital Works - Lot 12 Scaffolding. The Council's Procurement Service undertook the Mini Competition where Tenders were invited on a Price/Quality basis. The following weightings were used to determine the most economically advantageous tender: Quality (Technical): 50% Price (Commercial): 50% The successful bidder was the one who achieved the highest combined quality/price score.
