Provision of General Advice Service to the Community across BCP Council Lot 1: This contract has been split into two elements: 1. General Advice Service: is for the provision of free advice and support to residents within BCP on a range of issues such as debt management, immigration, consumer issues, relationships, benefits claims etc. 2. Financial Wellbeing Service (split into two levels): • Financial Wellbeing Advice Service - Initial advice and support to review a person’s current financial circumstance, ensuring action is taken to maximise income, manage debt and set up mechanisms to ensure regular payment of priority bills are made. • Financial Wellbeing Support Service - Longer term support to improve people’s understanding and knowledge of financial matters and their ability to independently manage their own financial affairs on a long-term basis. Looking to address pertinent issues which holds the person back in seeking or maintaining accommodation or in dealing with other welfare issues.
